Automatic Sensitive Data Filter (Rule 10)

Sarkari.pk implements an automated client-side filter that intercepts and blocks sensitive personal data:

13-digit Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC/SNIC with or without dashes)
16-digit Credit and Debit Card numbers
Pakistani & International Passport numbers
Bank Account / IBAN numbers
Identity document photographs containing CNIC, passport, or credit cards

If detected, the message is blocked in your browser before ever reaching our servers or any AI provider.

What is stored on your device

We store minimal convenience data strictly inside your browser's local memory (localStorage):

sarkari_chats: Holds your recent consultation history so you can review previous steps. You can wipe this at any time using the Clear button in the sidebar.

userCity: Remembers your preferred city (e.g. Lahore, Karachi) to automatically tailor driving license, token tax, and domicile procedures.

sarkari_lang: Remembers whether you prefer English, Roman Urdu, or Nastaliq Urdu.

AI Processing & Third-Party Services

To generate conversational explanations, anonymized general queries (e.g., "How do I become an active tax filer in FBR?") are processed via secure server-side APIs (OpenRouter / Generative AI). We do not sell or monetize citizen query data.
